This is the largest form of Tillandsia ionantha we've ever seen. Although it doesn't color up in bloom as much as the more common form, it's huge size and rapid clumping ability more than make up for it. The Swiss Army knife in the photo is 9 cm (3 1/2"). This is an awesome form of T. ionantha and it is rare!
