What a great species Tillandsia purpurea is! A beautiful plant that can grow to over 30 CM in height and almost as much in width, it produces a brightly colorful, purple inflorescence, wonderfully fragrant flowers (a unique cinammon smell), and many, many offsets. It likes bright light and to not be moist for extended periods.
