Tillandsia pseudobaileyi is an attractive, stiff-leaved species that has lots of maroon color in the inflorescence. The unique aspect of this species is that the silver leaf sheaths have vertical maroon lines that are similar to the brown lines on the skin of an onion. The sheath margins are also maroon.
