Tillandis paleacea is as close as a Tillandsia species gets to a "Don't water me" plant IF it is in humid conditions. It has tremendous capacity to absorb moisture from the air. Also, because it is so tomentose (fuzzy white scales called trichomes covering the leaves), it needs bright light over time. Pretty astor-violet blooms.
