Tillandisa cyanea is one of those WOW! species. A huge pink paddle inflorescence is grace with huge violet flowers (the largest in the genus) one after the other for several weeks. It is one of the species that needs to be grown in a fast-draining soil mix or mounted with sphagnum moss. Although it does well with bright light, it will also thrive at lower light levels than many of the others.
