Tillandsia
cacticola
is a rare species that produces one of the most exquisite, long lasting
inflorescences that is a wonderfully attractive lavender. It is not
prolific, normally producing just one or two offsets after it blooms.
It prefers warmer, brighter conditions. Like with other tillandsias,
if the leaf edges begin to curl up toward each other more than normal,
it is time to submerge it in water for 12 to 14 hours.
